decon international traces back to 1972 and 2004, when its predecessor entities, namely decon (Deutsche Energie-Consult Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH) and MVV Consulting were founded. In 2008 they merged to MVV decon and in 2015, a new subsidiary, decon international GmbH, was formed to emphasize the group’s expanding geographic footprint. In 2016, decon international became part of the Tilia Group.
Our Team
decon international employs approximately 100 staff, including high-quality experts, permanent employees and associated freelancers from different sectors. The team consists of experts from various technical and engineering disciplines as well as commercial and economic disciplines.
The Management Team comprises of Dr. Ingo Töws (Managing Director), Mr. Bernd Kadel and Mr. Tobias Nentwig (Energy Division) as well as Mr. Heinrich Meindl (Water Division).

He holds a degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig and a Ph.D. in industrial wastewater treatment from the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg.
Dr.Töws is a native German speaker and is fluent in English.
